The Power of Listening

I am standing, with my hands clasped as I look at my face in the mirror. I focus on my gaze as I breathe calmly and deeply.

Each inhalation is three times as long as usual, I hold the air and exhale for twice the usual time.

After a few breaths, I sit on the meditation mat with my legs crossed and my hands on my knees.

I close my eyes and free my mind of thoughts. I return to focusing on my breathing, which is now normal.

I relax my neck, jaw, separate my tongue from the palate; I stretch my shoulders.

I focus on feeling happiness and tranquility. I don't think about anything in particular, it's a feeling, which gradually turns into gratitude to God.

Feeling calm and at peace, I focus more deeply on nothingness. I wake up inside my healing core, where I witness being healed by the will of God, which is also energy.

And I perceive that I am in the presence of God, and I am filled with joy and love.

The Holy Spirit has granted me the power to observe the operation of the supremely eminent power of God in the world, and I am grateful for it.

For the will of God is also power, and I witness that it is healing me, and I am also in the world.

I begin to experience that a word is forming in my mind: Discipline.

The Spirit of God who lives within me manifests itself and my individual soul is in communion with his Spirit, for I am in grace.

My soul imprints this thought in my mind:

Discipline is important to recognize the will of God in my daily life.

My soul must be disciplined in order to be able to listen to the messages of the Holy Spirit, my mind must submit to the manifestations of my soul, and it must prioritize fulfilling the will of God over my own will, over my thoughts, my desires and passions.

The desires and needs of my flesh often go against the will of God, which is why I must practice inner discipline.

And I start repeating in my mind: To love God is to submit to his will.

After a while, I finish reviewing this mantra and float inside me, like in space. I am pleased that this time the space has a large volume, of three dimensions.

I start to return to consciousness, and I open my eyes. I whisper the mantra several times, then I breathe out through my mouth softly.

I explore my sensations, my surroundings.

I am happy, relaxed and I feel a little healthier than before meditating.

Amen.
